Hello! My name is Jeanine and my partner is Alex.
ABOUT US:
We are two professionals living in Vancouver, Canada (in our late 20's-, early 30's) who recently took a year away from our careers to travel and housesit around Australia. We have recently returned and are excited to continue housesitting in our hometown! We are both caring, respectful and responsible. We have cared for 20+ houses and 40+ pets through various platforms: Trusted Housesitters, MadPaws and Aussie Housesitters. EXPERIENCE:
CATS: We both have owned cats our entire lives. We have experience petsitting for kittens of 4 months to 19 year old seniors and everything in between. We have experience administering medications (eye drops and liquid medicine via syringe) and are confident to learn more. We love cats and have a good understanding of their body language and signals to ensure they get the space they need and always feel safe around us.
DOGS: We absolutely love dog-sitting and have cared for energetic 1-year puppies who can run for an hour with us to elderly dogs with arthritis who need nothing over a 15min walk. We work with pet owners to discover their training style but our default is Positive Reinforcement Training. Our usual routine for dog-sitting is 2 walks a day, lots of playtime, enrichment activities and basic command training, and obviously can be modified depending on the dog!

We truly are a travel and animal-loving couple! It brings us so much joy to come back to a house with a cat, dog or other wonderful pets waiting for us. Each animal we have met has such a distinct personality, and all have been so lovely to look after. Our promise to you is to carry on your routines with your animals and to ensure their comfort, safety and happiness!
Although your pets happiness and safety is our #1 priority, your home is a close second. Our promise is that you will return home to a clean house, dishes done, laundry done and sheets fresh and waiting for you.

Yesterday I noticed my anxious girl has a new meow I'd not heard before and realised she's calling for the house sitters <3. She misses them!
Jeanine and Alex kept me updated and on everything and showed genuine care. THE best house sitters I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting! Jeanine and Alex are easy going, tidy (SUPER tidy) and friendly. They provided 10/10 care to my dog-who wasn’t even excited to see me return home.
