We need a house sitter

(Sadly our dog has crossed the rainbow bridge, after a long & happy life, so no dog care needed, just wanted to keep her pictures here).
We are looking for an animal lover(s) to take care of our home and friendly animals, on Vancouver Island in a quiet cul-de-sac of Sooke (approx 30min from Victoria).
Our one very affectionate, yet sleepy cat, will occasionally look for some attention, and one large tank of fish will need a daily sprinkle of feed. We also have chickens that need nominal care, which give fresh eggs everyday for your eating pleasure.
The home is on half an acre, fully fenced, which backs onto the world famous Galloping Goose Trail, and just a couple minutes away from the ocean and provincial parks. A very beautiful and peaceful area. We also have a hot tub and an infrared sauna, and possibly, a vehicle to use as well. We have had several sitters here before, which all were taken aback from the beauty and serenity of the area. You can keep as busy as you want, or just sit back, read a book, or just relax... watch Netflix?

We enjoyed this sit! We learned a whole lot about caring for chickens. Julie did a good job in answering all questions. For example when a raven stole an egg in broad daylight Julie worked out a solution and the raven never returned. It was a good learning experience. Nicolas the cat was fun to be with. Brad and Julie were very kind to us and made efforts to make us feel comfortable, they also gave us great suggestions on local attractions to see. We saw some beautiful places in Sooke along the waterfront and enjoyed having access to the hiking trail behind their home. Nicolas (their cat) was a joy to care for and came to get pets; very lovable guy! We also looked after their chickens and coop, great if you enjoy farm fresh eggs! Thank you again :)

Both Roy and I really enjoyed this busy sit. A perfect location for walking the galloping goose trail, literally at the back gate. With 2 loveable cats, 1 easy going dog Shyla and many chickens. You won't be bored. Even chickens like a good pet or hug. Eggs to enjoy as well. Julie and Brad are wonderful host, and treated us to a few evenings with great craft brews and good food. The homeowners left very detailed instructions to care for their pets and home. The dog, cats and chickens were all wonderful. They were enjoyable to be with. There is an awesome dog-walking/hiking trail just behind their house. We'd be happy to sit for them again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Brad and Julie's. When I arrived they kindly showed me many points of interest which I visited again later, and invited me to use their salt water hot tub, exercise equipment and much more. Shyla, Gilbert and Nicholas were the sweetest and most affectionate dog and cats. The chickens were easy to care for. Property backs onto the famous Galloping Goose trail, where I saw many deer.
