Hi we're Bruce and Louise.

We are a mature, retired Canadian couple looking to housesit in Canada. We love animals and had four Newfoundland dogs and two cats over the course of twenty plus years, in our country home near Calgary.

We are clean, neat and quiet non-smokers and will have our own vehicle to deal with any emergencies that may come up. We both have had police checks in the past as required for employment.

We are an active couple who love to bike, hike, and walk dogs.
We're somewhat handy, but know when to call in a professional.

We would love to take care of your pets and home!

Bruce amd Louise looked after our dog and house for 5 weeks. The communication while we were away was excellent giving us confidence that the dog was in goid hands. On our return, the house was impeccably clean, our dog was certainly glad to see us but also sad so see them go.. i must add that during our absence, Bruce took our dog to our ver twice because of an anal gland issue and also took her to get weighed weekly as the vet advised that she was a bit overweight. Bruce and Louise are a very warm and friendly couple. We came back to a very clean house and a very happy dog. They also did the extra tasks while we were away including shoveling. We would highly recommend them and would gladly have them return for another housesit.
