Hi!
I am a mature (in my 50's) responsible woman who has lived in downtown Toronto for 30 years. I love cats! I love dogs! I'm super tidy!
I am working on a writing project and, every once in a while, I need to be by myself in a quiet place to work. Housesitting is a great opportunity to do this while still being in the city. (I can send links to my published work if you are interested.)
What I bring: I'm very homey and quiet and will respect your space. I have had cats all my adult life. I cuddle a kitty and clean a litter box like nobody's business. I also have experience with ill kitties (giving meds, diabetes injections, sub-Q fluids) and would take very good care of your special companion. (For very complicated or rigid medication schedules I would expect some payment). Also, walking your dog would be my absolute pleasure. I walk a lot as a habit anyway. I grew up with a dog and still miss him.

What you need to know: I do have an administrative day job downtown with regular hours, so if you need someone to be in your home most of the day, I'm not for you. The upside of me being local however is that I can meet you ahead of time by phone or in person if that makes you more comfortable.
