We have been sitting in New Zealand (where we normally live) since 2016. Then, we sat 14 months back to back in Australia, and we are now heading to Canada from July to November 2024,
About us: We are in our late 40's couple. He works part time from home as an IT Project Manager, and she is a chef, but does not need to work when we travel. This allows us lots of time to care for your house and your pets. If your pet is a dog who loves walking, then he/she would have plenty of that with us.
In our past, we have cared for many type/size of pets and houses: We have cared for farm houses, large houses, small houses, and even city apartments. We are more of the nature type, so we have also cared for may type of pets: Dogs (on all sizes!), cats, fish, horses, cows, rabbits, lizards, alpacas, ducks, chooks, geeze and many others!
Our plan is to buy a CamperVan upon my/our arriva, and mainly camp/hotel around BC and Alberta (rocky mountains), but we would certainly love to housesit every now and then in our way. We believe that caring for pets and homes is one of the best ways to get to know a region/place/country.

Hernan is kind, caring and respectful of our home and to top it off our fur babies were given lots of love for the three weeks we were away.
Our Moodle, Willis was exercised daily and shared being the centre of attention with our two cats, Boston and Mimi.
Hernan's communication leading up to our departure and while we were away with messages and pics, reassured us that in knowing that our beloved pets were safe and happy while we were on vacation.

Although Hernan was supposed to housesit with Claudia he arrived solo. This did not pose any problems at all and his care of our dog Rusti was amazing, to the point she was still looking for him a week after he left! He communicated often and took good care of our home. Hernan and Claudia did an amazing job with our house and 2 dogs Stella and Kai. From coming for a meet and greet the day before the sit and reading the dogs and taking them for a walk while I walked Claudia through the house. We knew they'd be great. Daily communication was fabulous.
Hernan did the last 2 days on his own after Claudia went back to NZ.
The place was left clean, tidy, linen in the machine and the dogs were happy when we got home.

Can't recommend Hernan and Claudia enough! I loved what genuine good and kind hearted people they are. They looked after our fur baby Luna for three weeks and kept us up to date with photos and videos. Hernan has a great sense of humour and kept us entertained with brilliant videos on our holiday. We could tell Luna was spoilt as we watched her adventure with them, including harbour walks and very special treats! Claudia is very kind and I could tell Luna took to her immediately. They went ... Hernan and Claudia were absolutely perfect house sitters. Everything was perfect when we returned. Jack our rather large dog, was well looked after, and walked to his ability, as he has a sore leg.
They were very respectful, arrived on time, and maintained contact with us as required. it was lovely to return to our home and find it in such a clean and neat condition.

Hernan and Claudia exceeded expectations - particularly with Pixie who is a very skittish cat. Their patience and care of Pixie was more than I asked for, taking the time to gain her trust and provided me with regular updates. I returned to well watered shrubs and potted plants, and a flourishing vegetable garden. The cottage was left very clean and tidy. I highly recommend Hernan and Claudia as house sitters and welcome then back to visit if in the Far North again.
